Rock Climbing in Boulder Canyon

My couch surfing host in Boulder, Dave, loves rock climbing and bouldering, so he organized a big group of his friends to get together for some outdoor fun. Three cars of people drove up Boulder Canyon for about 15 minutes to a pullout across the road from the canyon river. We took the short hike up the canyon to a rock face overlooking the forested valley below. There were already a few other groups of people set up with their gear, including a few more of Dave’s friends. Here are some photos of the canyon valley and rock climbers.

The person taking pictures is often not in his own shots. So what you don’t see is that I scaled that rock like a pro! (who has been out of practice for a while)

Those pictures are beautiful! But where are you? Did you do any climbing?

Right you are… this was back in October, but I’m just now getting a chance to post stories about past adventures. Currently enjoying the beach in Santa Monica, CA, but will be moving on in a couple days =)

Well, these are great pics, but I know these aren’t recent because everyone is in tank tops and its currently very cold in Colorado. Where are you now?
